Is This A Gentleman?

Built out of cut-up fragments from a 1950’s British English language textbook for aspiring businessmen, Is this a gentleman is a 40 page action manual for theatrical performance. Two men negotiate their status as performers within a landscape of mundane, iconic objects. Outfitted with contact microphones that amplify the smallest activity, the stage becomes an uncharted territory of explosive sound, extra-ordinary images, and strange resonances.
